I loved the first game, loathed the second (like most people) but here is an anime series based on the plot of the first game (at least) - this is episode one, courtesy of IGN.com

Surprised
I was surprised. I wasn’t expecting this to make a big impact but I was just so damn curious about the “xmas eyes” (see image) character that I decided to check it out.
Something about her eyes being red and green just caught my curiosity - so far I’ve seen DVD1 and the story has enough mystery to it to keep my attention.
Some folks have compared it to Zach Bel in that humans and there partners (the dolls) seem to be part of some sort of epic contest, however, unlike Zach Bel, I don’t find Rozen Maiden annoying! 
We’ll see how it plays out, but for now Rozen Maiden is on my thumbs up list.

Seems a lot of folks really go for this series - me? Meh. It’s not that it’s bad, it just doesn’t grab me at all. So I’ll drop it for now.
Unlike some other series I’m not going to say “NO WAY! DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!” But I won’t recommend it beyond saying, check it out and see what you think. Others do obviously enjoy it, and it is of a good technical quality.
